The children and young people who benefit from our services have diverse needs and include those with autistic spectrum disorders, physical and learning disabilities and those who require specific healthcare procedures. Activities take place within our services. We are registered and regulated by the Care Quality Commission.
Play & Youth Clubs
Enabling play and activities for all abilities
We run a wide range of play and youth clubs outside of school hours and at weekends. They are designed for children and young people with a range of disabilities and enable them to socialize and participate in fun activities.
Short Break Services
It’s a social and fun environment where we strive to incorporate the ideas and wishes of the children to ensure that they are stimulated and enjoy their time with us. Parents can be rest assured, the children socialize, explore and make the most of our accessible and specially adapted activity spaces, which include a sensory room, and play area, chill out lounge, TV room and large adapted kitchen where the children are encouraged to develop their own life skills through cooking activities.
Transition & Personal Support
0-18 years – Personal Support
We strive to create a package of care that best enables the child/teen to learn life skills, socialize and participate in events across the community. Each package is tailored within put from social workers, parents/carers and other significant people like teachers or GPs.
A bespoke plan of how best to support and enable the child/teen is put in place with agreed outcomes. These will vary by individual but can include road safety, money management, shopping, cooking, communication, happiness and enjoyment, health needs, emotional and social relationships, independence, exercise and educational support.
Personal Care
We provide domiciliary care for children and young people with disabilities up to the age of 18.
This service includes:
- Preparing meals.
- General housekeeping –such as cleaning and doing laundry.
- Bathing and administering personal care.
- Dressing.
- Generally, assist parents and carers with tasks such as administering medicine.
- Short breaks to give parents a rest from caring, and provide children with an opportunity to develop independence, learn new skills and make friends.
